Ong-Oaj Pairam was
definitely one of my favourite shows at London Fashion Week this season. I have
an obsession with print that is just recently growing a lot, so I was thrilled
by his use of print throughout the collection.
It's the third time he showed at
London Fashion Week and the show on Friday, the 14th of February at the
was really inspiring ...
I'm generally not that
interested in menswear, but I still love it when designer show menswear pieces
here and there in their collections. The show explored a fascination with
danger, dreaming up an army of seductive super villains inspired by the
designer’s all-time favourite anti-hero Ursula from the Little Mermaid.
pieces had original prints, finest textiles and were partly embroidered. I also
loved the very classic and chic hair&make-up, as the red lips and
voluminous hair played well into the theme of the collection.
Another highlight of the
show were the exquisite gowns that were showing at the end. There was a great
contrast to them as they were of dark and heavy colors, but at the same time
had a very elegant lightness to them.
